I got an invite to a wedding shower last Wednesday for this Sunday. I know I'm going, but I don't have a ton off money. (Also I didn't even know these guys were married and I can bet will not be invited to the wedding)

I found a cute crockpot for 2 cookbook that is mini. I was thinking that and a 1.5 qt crockpot. Anything else you would give with it that is small? Is that good enough or should I go to a bigger crockpot?

@uconnhuskie007‌ when I opened the invite and saw who it was from and thought who? Then realized it was my uncle by marriage's nephew. I automatically told my SO that they must have either remembered they would see me at Easter or they didn't get enough people coming.

I thought whoever was invited to the shower was invited to the wedding, but again not married here so didn't know if times had changed.

Uhhhh, if you know you aren't getting invited to the wedding, I would decline.

I agree with this. I would have never invited someone to the shower and not the wedding itself. Totally gift grabby.

But the gift you have picked out sounds great to me. I say throw in an apron for the gift, too.
