My LO is 8 days old. BF has been going pretty well. I was engorged from 3-5 days pp but then using hot shower, ice packs, and lots of nursing my breasts calmed down, but last night I woke up and my right breast was very engorged and the left was still normal. The right side also had a bunch of pea sized lumps on the top and side. I massaged my breast and then hand expressed a little and then nursed and everything seems back to normal this morning, but I'm just curious, is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else? Were the bumps clogged ducts? Anything I can do to prevent this from happening again?
