Fighting so hard not to test

I'm 10dpiui and finding it so hard not to test!! It's taking all my willpower not to grab a FRER from the bathroom and pee on it haha. After my IUI I promised myself I would wait at least until 11dpiui to do HPT. Then I ended up testing at 3dpiui.

I have a wedding to go to this weekend in which I'm a bridesmaid. If I can somehow know for sure I'm not KU, I will feel free to enjoy some drinks (God knows I'll need them!) ...But it's too early to know for sure. So I'm not testing .... and it's driving me crazy!! To top it off, I'm feeling down about the way this process is affecting my body. I am SO bloated .... like I look 12 weeks or so pregnant when I look at myself in the mirror. I have a friend who recently told me she's 11 weeks pregnant and I look more pregnant than she does. So depressing! And I'm supposed to put on a sexy bridesmaid dress on Sat?! Ugh, that sounds horrible .... body image is not at its best right now. Last night DH wanted to have sex ....But I felt so incredibly bloated I had to tell him no. And I just don't feel sexy right now ....I feel like a fat cow :-/ (although the scale doesn't really show much weight gain).

Sorry this post is all over the place .... to sum it up, I feel like a fat unsexy cow (LOL) and I'm trying with all my might NOT to do a HPT today and at least wait until tomorrow (11dpiui).

Me - Left salpingo-oophorectomy at 19 due to large cyst/torsion  and 2 large uterine fibroids found at age 30
Him - Borderline low sperm count (correcting through Fertility Blend supplement)

Married 8/20/2011
TTC #1 since Jan 2013
First appointment with RE 10/2013.  
April 2014 - Clomid 100mg CD3-7.  HCG shot CD10 IUI #1 done on 4/12/14 (CD12) ....BFN
May 2014 - Break cycle to repeat saline sonogram and re-group.  Travel to Kauai 5/7-5/12 (Yay!!)
June 2014 - Clomid 150mg CD4-8.  HCG shot CD14.  IUI#2 done on 6/9 and 6/10 (CD15-16) w/ Prometrium suppositories during TWW .... BFN
July 2014 - Clomid 150mg CD3-7.  Ultrasound CD12 - 4 mature follies! HCG trigger shot CD12 AM.  IUI#3 on CD13 w/ Prometrium suppositories during TWW ....BFN
July 2014 - Repeat ultrasound done to measure size of fibroid - 8x9cm (the size of a grapefruit!) Surgery referral made.
August 2014 - MRI done which revealed 2 fibroids: a 13x15cm fibroid as well as an 8x7cm one.  Super freak out mode over surgery plan.  OB-GYN/surgeon said surgery would most likely have to be a laparotomy (open abdominal surgery)
August 2014 - After a 2nd opinion, plan to take Lupron x 2 months to shrink fibroids then laparoscopic/robotic myomectomy.  Surgery date is set for Nov 21st!  
November 2014 - Robotic myomectomy done (2 large fibroids removed, mild endo found).  Benched x 3 months

    Aug 2013 - SA: Counts & Motility = great, Morph = 1%; RE didn't seem too concerned

    Me: 26
    Jan. 2014 - Blood work ordered by obgyn:  Prolactin = high & AMH = low (0.73)
    Feb. 6, 2014 - Repeat blood work ordered by obgyn:  Prolactin = normal & AMH = low (0.9)
    Feb.  20, 2014 - First appointment with RE
    Feb. 24, 2014 - HSG scheduled;  DX:  one tube definitely open & one tube could be blocked
    Mar. 7, 2014 - CD 21 Blood work for Progesterone; DX:  Progesterone level at 5.2; shows I ovulated but was low
    Mar. 28, 2014 - Laparoscopy; DX:  Tubes open.  Found some endometriosis and had that removed.
     
    History:
    Started TTC:  June 2012
    June 2012 - March 2013:  When it Happens/it happens method = BFN
    March 2013:  Started using Fertility Friend
    Cycles 1 - 15 with Fertility Friend = BFN
    Cycle 16 - Benched due to Laparoscopy
    Cycle 17 - Natural Cycle = BFN
    Cycle 18 - Natural Cycle = BFN
    Cycle 19 - Natural Cycle = BFN
     

    Current Cycle:
    Cycle 20 = Natural Cycle

    IUI#1- March 22 (100mg clomid, 75 mg of Bravelle, Ovidrel trigger) = BFP!!!

    Test Friday morning! You can do it!! It's funny that I'm the opposite... I hate testing bc I hate seeing the BFN. I'd rather go longer thinking I could possibly pregnant lol Plus I'm a cheapo and hate buying tests. Although I do love to drink at weddings lol So I'd def. test before then. FX for you!!!!

                 Beta #1 12dpo - 164 & progesterone - 89!, Beta #2 16 dpo - 1189, 5w3d - u/s shows TWINS!
                 6/19- u/s showed heartbeats! Baby A 111 & Baby B 118, both measuring 6w1d
                 7/3- Baby A hb 170, Baby B hb 166 - both measuring perfect.
                 7/18 - Baby A 165, Baby B 171 - both measuring right on track & moving all around!

    Yes, wait until Friday!  I see you had an HCG shot - those can be real mind effers.  I've gotten a false positive from it at 10 DPO and I got all excited and then it faded away... Better to wait than experience that kind of disappointment!  FX for you!

    Exactly, a BFN wouldn't take you out of the game in order to drink this weekend (sucky timing :( ). Good luck holding off the testing! It's such a mind game.

    ..and you are definitely not alone with feeling totally bloated.  I second the spanx, and drink plenty of water.

    As PP pointed out, unless you tested out your trigger, even if you tested today you still couldn't be sure if you were getting a second line from leftover trigger or the real deal. That's the only thing that keeps me from testing too early! Definitely wait until Friday! Good luck!
