One year and thank you.

I posted much more frequently the first six months but haven't as much lately. Tomorrow my ds turns one and we will begin the transition to wcm. It has been a bumpy road and at times this board was the thing that kept me going. I never dreamed I would make it the whole year, with work and not being able to pump more than twice a day, pain and pure exhaustion, but somehow we did it. So thank you for all your insight and for sharing your stories. I shed more tears over bf those first four months than my ds did and because I knew there were other moms doing the same it gave me strength. It has been worth it and I'm a little sad to be ending it but it is what is best for my family. Now on to weaning slowly. Hopefully I will be back next summer with number two.

    Congratulations!! Making it to a year is a huge accomplishment. It was so bitter sweet when DS completely stopped at 13 months! Proud of you!
