Stupid boob

Little one is 10.5 months. I have exclusively breastfed/pumped. I only planned to do it for a year which is quickly approaching. My right breast decided to tank on me only producing about 2 oz a day. The left one is still the workhorse and can supply her with what she needs.

Does anyone else have this issue along with ridiculously attractive lopsided boobs? Wondering if I should just let the right one dry up or keep trying. It's almost not worth the effort especially if I am stopping soon. Thanks everyone! Just wondering if anyone is in my boat.

Are you using a double or single pump? If it's a double pump, I don't see how it would be any extra effort to go ahead and pump both sides.

I'm not in this situation, but personally I'd probably just stick with it given that it's not much longer anyway. That being said, I don't think there's a right answer. Do whatever is best for you! GL.

I second Kelseypie's answer - if you are using a double pump, I'd continue to pump both until you wean. The two ounces from the right side are still worthwhile if there's no extra work involved, and you can freeze that milk if you don't need it and be able to give LO breast milk for a while after she turns one if it turns out it's slow-going switching over to WCM.

If you have a single pump, ditch pumping the right side.

Hoping once I wean, my boobs will even out. Anyone hear any success stories or am I destined to be lopsided forever?
