My newborn is 2 1/2 months old and I am EBFing..,.as with my other kiddos, I initially lose a chunk of weight and then my body screeches to a halt and hangs on to the remainder until I'm nursing. So, maternity clothes are too big, but my regular clothes are still too tight. I feel squishy, jiggly, and gross and I'm hating my body right now...which should motivate me to get up off my big butt and get more exercise...except also, I crave all the sugary things. UGH...I am GROSS!!!
Andplusalso...feeling squishy is not conducive to being in the mood for ST...
I've been making progress getting my 4 month old to sleep on his own. Today is a major setback. He will only nap on me. As someone in a viral video once said, ain't nobody got time for that.
His Christening is Sunday, and we have 40ish people coming to our messy house to celebrate. (We considered a resrauarant, but ain't nobody got money for that.)

I just moved to ND to be with dh, and am happy about that, but there is absolutely nothing to do here. Also, if I were still in AR it would feel like summer...it does NOT feel like summer here.
@MrsLafferty25...ND gets better during the summer. There are way more things to do. Winters are harsh though and spring and fall are pretty hard to come by. I'm in canada but we are frequently in ND. If you don't mind telling me (I'm not a murderer I promise!) what part of ND are you in?
Both kids are sick. We had to cancel two play dates. There isn't enough junk food in my house. My 70lb 3.5 yr old wants to be held like a baby. My throat hurts.

@algalphys Near Watford City. My dh works in the oilfield and I haven't ventured out too much. I would love to hear of fun things to do around here:) Watford just seems so far from everything!
I have an interview for a job tonight and if I get it then I will put LO in daycare for the first time...she is two!

I am watching Long Island Medium on the DVR. I always cry.
I pulled an all-nighter working on a project for work, and then DS decided he wanted to be up playing from 3:30-4:30am and DH didn't want to let him CIO, so I got zero sleep and not all the work finished.
Dishes are piled up in/on my kitchen sink & counters since SATURDAY bc I haven't had time to do them & APPARENTLY no one else in the whole damn house can see them sitting there.
& the house is a mess & needs a good solid spring cleaning & I am 6 months pregnant with absolutly zero desire to do it & APPARENTLY no one in the whole damn house can see that shit either.
& DD2 is graduating from Kindergarten in less than a month & every.single.time I think about it I start crying. & now I'm crying. Gotta get the hormones in check!
@MrsLafferty25 watford city is a way from some of the more interesting places in ND. If you like to golf, the kbully pulpit course is really nice. We go to Minot often for shopping. It's pretty decent and they are getting more all the time because of the oilfield. They have a small zoo in Minot. The North Dakota state fair is in Minot too. Don't know what music you like but there are mostly country artist at the fair but three days grace is also playing on July 25. I hear the fair good is worth the trip alone (I haven't been to the fair in years but we may go see tdg this year if we can). There is also a really cool outdoor water park in Minot in oak park. We go to stock car races if that tickles your fancy, both in Williston and Minot. I believe Dickinson has a track too. For a farther trip, fargo is awesome. Amazing shopping, decent dining and way more activities. Good concerts in Fargo and grand forks too. JT was just in fargo in February.
@algalphys Thank you! I just looked up Minot it is about 2 hours away from us. I am so happy they have a lot of the normal kind of shopping. I was scared that all I had for miles was a walmart and thats still an hour away.
