Re: 14 lb baby born?!?!

  • haha - no thanks.  Could you imagine?!

Fortunately for you M, I don't think either you or your DH has the 14lb baby genes running in your family to have to worry about having one.  ;)

  • My old manager's wife had a 13 pounder...vaginally.  It was her third kid, but still.  I think the worst part would be carrying it at the end.  Tillman was pretty big and I had a hard time at the end walking around with him in there.

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
  • Oy - DD is probably 14 lbs now AT 3 MONTHS! I can't imagine. And she eats the same amount he is - at birth! Crazy!
  • I am convinced that my baby HAS to weight at least 20-30 lbs...  How else can I explain the weight gain and the constant pain that my vagina is going to fall off every time I go from sitting to standing??!? Huh?Stick out tongue

I dunno... DH was over 10 lbs when he was born. ?Granted, he was the 6th child. ?And I wasn't even 7 lbs, even though I was 10 days late. ?I think we'll be okay.

And, um... a 13 lb vaginal delivery???? ?Holy hell. ?No thank you.?

  • Cwhip and her husband were both big babies and she delivered a monster...a sweet, beautiful monster. :)

  • I remember that. ?Cwhip and Noisy both, right? ?You ladies are heroes!
  • Ha ha!  Yes, Mikayla was 11.6 pounds.  I had a c-section though, I'm no hero!  ;)  And yes, the worst part was carrying her towards the end, I literally could barely roll over in bed, my stomach was like a torpedo.  :(
