How much does LO eat??

I've even trying to get LO to take 5 oz per feeding bc she really only eats 5x per day and once at night and its almost impossible-after 3 oz she's done-I can usually get her to drink 4-5 oz total if I entertain her somehow during feeding and also give her a break in between. It's frustrating bc doc said he wants her to gain bc she only weighed 11lbs at four months and said she should eat 2-3x their weight. How much are your babies drinking? Any tips on getting them to drink more?

    My LO is also only 11lbs. Some babies are just petite. Hang in there!

    While feeding, tickle/rub under LOs chin. If bottle feeding, turn the bottle while feeding too.

    IS this formula or bm?  If it's bm the amount doesn't change like formula does.

    Mine has been doing 8oz four or five times per day and has been for over a month. He's 19 pounds at 4.5 months and 27 inches long.

    Our pedi is happy that she is moving up a couple points on the percentage scales, said she would only be concerned if she was sliding down on the % scales. We are at 2% for weight and 5% for height. She's a petite little one :)

    My LO is maybe 11lbs now.  We get her weight checked this week.  She takes about 4oz a bottle, on a good day, 6oz, and about 6 times or so a day. My Dr makes me feel the same way!!!  She eats, I swear!

    My doctor told me not to worry if she is gaining weight because mine doesn't eat that much either but she is been gaining weight slowly. My LO is 4 months and weighs 12lb5oz and she is 24 in long.

    This for us as well. I'm guessing she's 12lbs something.

    If you believe she is still hungry and just not eating, try moving the nipple up a size. I know my kids jacked around and didn't finish bottles when it was time to move up.

    Mine has been doing the same thing. To get her to eat enough throughout the day I give her a 5 oz bottle (formula) every 4 hours. She'll only drink about 3-4 oz at that time, so I stick the rest in the fridge. Right before naptime, about 2 hours later, I warm it up and she'll drink the rest. That way she gets 6 5oz bottles a day, and we can maintain a 4 hour schedule, which is sooooo much easier, I think!

    Formula fed. 4 months old & 15lbs and drinks about 36oz a day normally 5 or 6-6oz bottles a day, no night feeding from 10pm-8am... but I feel like she's going through a growth spurt right now

    I'm not sure how much DD eats because I bf but when she does get the occasional bottle she takes about 3 - 4 oz. She is also just above 11 lbs at 4 months (25th percentile for height, weight and head) and the ped said she looks perfect. He is not concerned she is on the small size because she is healthy and showing consistent growth.
