Well I went in to the hospital today for the ECV and after having LO monitored and then having an ultrasound it was determined that I was not a candidate for ECV. LO is measuring in the 97th percentile for everything (wow!) and they are estimating her to be 8.10 lbs at 37 + 1. Also placenta is anterior and fluid was low. This along with being Frank breech meant that the doc did jot recommend going ahead. I will now be booked for a c section at 39 weeks. Still trying to process that I won't have the natural birth that I had planned for. Vaginal breech birth is not an option due to size. However, all I want is a healthy baby so I guess this is my journey. Can any STM's advise on the accuracy of their growth scan?
Re: Update on my breech baby
Since you are having a csection for a breech baby, you will be a great candidate for a vbac if that is what you want for the next one.
Maybe baby will flip on it's own before that. Either way lots of luck!
ETA- at this stage your measurements can be off by up to 1-2 pounds from what I understand
Acupuncture flipped my LO, for the record!
