Speaking of sandboxes... I overheard 2 ladies talking in a store about filling a sandbox with oatmeal instead of sand... Thoughts? Anyone ever hear of that before?
I use crayola sand in ours because I read somewhere a few years ago that sand dust is carcinogenic. Bags of sand actually have a warning label on them about it being carcinogenic. I'm sure it's fine and I played in sand and haven't developed cancer (knock on wood) but after reading the article I decided to pay a little extra crayola sand.
