LO's sleep at daycare?

So this is the start of my 4th week back at work, LO is in daycare M/W/F and home with me T/Th. Last week he was actually only there Wednesday. But in any case, he knows the ladies that run it by now, etc.

He does not sleep well there. I think a large part is that we are swaddling him at home and I don't think they do it all the time there. But I also don't know if maybe they aren't clocking him right and putting him down later than he should be, etc. Thankfully he does take at least one nap usually, but it's hard to see him either flat out exhausted when he gets home, or hear reports that he was cranky/fussy which I can attribute usually to the lack of sleep. That being said, any growth spurt or change in sleep patterns always happens with naps. Nights have been pretty reliable from the start. Sometimes I can't get him to nap at regular intervals either lately.

I guess besides the vent, my question is if you guys found this with your LO when they went to daycare? I figure it probably isn't helping that we're alternating days on him. Outside of Saturday and Sunday, each following day he's being cared for by someone different, you know?

    DD had this issue ay daycare. As she got older her naps got better. I would adjust her bedtime on daycare days earlier so she gets the rest she needs.

    LO has never been a good napper unless she's napping on me. It's probably my fault for starting that, but in my defense, I usually needed a nap the same time she did :)

    She's slowly getting better, but I feed her when I get home from work and we both take a quick nap to get us through dinnertime until it's time for bath and bed. But she is getting better. I've been back at work for just over a month now and today she took about an hour nap at the sitter's. World Record here.

    I'm going to second @megsswm‌. LO sleeps fantastically at daycare and only sleeps while nursing at home or swing for DH if I'm not in the house. Friends with kids have told me that as the baby gets older and is more interactive they get better sleep patterns. I hope I can mimic daycare this summer because she only gets 1.5 more months until we're home for the summer...

    Yeah on daycare days we are putting him to bed as soon as we are home, which is about 6:30.

    I'm really hoping stopping the swaddling will fix some of the issues. Just terrified to start that process.
