Yes! My sister lost power at a Halloween party she was hosting one year. We lit candles and played one of the murder mystery games. It was really fun. I'd love to do that or even something more elaborate again.
I can't get the ticker to work, but I have two sons:
Well someone's got to break the ice and it might as well be me. I mean I'm used to being a hostess, it's part of my husband's work, and it's always difficult when a group of new friends meet together for the first time, so I'm perfectly prepared to start the ball rolling, I mean I have no idea what we're doing here, or what I'm doing here or what this place is about but I am determined to enjoy myself and very intrigued, and oh, my this soup's delicious isn't it?!
We went to one just after we were married, it was super cheesy but a lot of fun. They have one at a hotel in my town that is around $300 per couple and it is all weekend and it includes your room food and drinks. I want to do that one so bad!
I have done it! We went to one in a theater that included dinner. It was super cheesy and tons of fun. Do it! $35 per person is cheap for a fun night out!
We attended a free one though work. It was cheesy, fun and possibly done wrong. I really think there are different outcomes and they messed up the clue binders because our table had pretty important "facts" that were not revealed.
And right now @FalconCrest is a true Clue fan in my book. Mrs. Peacock foreva, ya beatniks!
De-lurking bc I did one and it was so much fun! Here in OK, there's a haunted house that hosts one several times a month. It's also a B&B so you stay in the haunted house. I was the first "murder victim". So during dinner I had to leave the table several times and "violently vomit (fake)" in the bathroom that was off the dining room, with the door open. Lol people thought I was really sick and kept shutting the door on me. Then I had to collapse dramatically and was drug off. Totally not my personality as I'm not one to draw attention. But it was hilarious. I later came back as a ghost! Haha so much fun. It was $70/ couple and I thought worth it for sure!

I made DH watch Clue recently, because he couldn't remember if he had before. It never gets old.
