baby arms and legs measuring at 33%

We had a sonogram last Thursday and baby's arms and legs measured in at the 33% ile I wasn't sure what this meant so of course the first thing I did was Google and managed to totally freak myself out we have to go back in 3 weeks because she was being stubborn and refused to let us see the front of her face or her heart where I will ask many questions but until then has anybody been through this?

@ugabamafans‌ she said everything else was measuring normal....I know better than to Google I tried calling this weekend but I guess they were out for the holiday so I was never able to talk to them.....I guess I'll try again this morning

It was a tech and she said everything else was normal but the arms and legs were measuring a little short which is why later the panic started but I will wait until they call me back to know for sure....thank ya'll
  • All of our babies have had small femur/humerus measurements (<20%) compared to the rest of their bodies. It's just the way they grow. You can't tell when they are born, though, so it's no big deal. All babies are shaped differently.

  • Right now, Isaiah's arms and legs are measuring 2 weeks ahead, and his head is measuring 4 weeks ahead. His weight estimate is also about 2 weeks ahead.

It's nothing to really be concerned about. Lots of kids are long and lean and their extremities will be longer than their torso. Also keep in mind the stature of you and your SO.

@MissBHaven1024‌ that is what I've kept telling myself all weekend DH is 5' 5" while I'm 5' .5" lol (I have to count that .5 inch I can't afford to lose even that lol) I think Google truly messed me up but from now on I will stay off especially when it comes to my LO's!
  • These threads make me so happy my midwives don't do ultrasounds after 20 weeks.  While I am the need-to-know-absolutely-everything kind of person, these kind of numbers and estimates and comparisons would drive me nuts.

I get a u/s every month and while it's nice to see LO, it is also so stressful! Every time I go in fearing the worst because I am crazycakes and sometimes I wish I didn't have scans so often!

I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
