@HeyLou23 bummer! I'm slightly ashamed to admit it but we started trying in December of last year with the goal of making the deductible. DD was born in March and we paid 2 deductibles for me and met hers when she was born. 3 deductibles $$$$$$$
@SpankingShank I didn't know that, nor do I care if that is the decision. Sorry if am out of place. Where was that decided? I'm confused but that seems to be happening a ton lately.

Although I'm as excited as the rest of you of saving some cash, I don't know about referring to my baby as a deduction? Seems a little, I don't know, cold and shallow. And who needs to be reminded of taxes all year long? I mean sure, if it works out that way, that's great, but as for the overall theme and all it seems a bit harsh.
Based on the other board it seems like it's in the majority. I can see the humor in it, but I'm not overly fond of referring to our babies as deductions, as opposed to the miracles they are.
What if we take the top two? Since Deductions seems to be the front runner, but not everyone is crazy about it. Does it have to be a unanimous board decision?

I guess to me and over analyzing.... deduction means minus, minus means loss.....doesn't have to be Xmas themed - but anything to do with December would be better. Id rather it be called a turkey than a deduction. Ha Ha Ha.
I think it's all in good fun. You would just think...December would be festive, or weather related - that's all. I don't care if we are called December. Plain and simple %-(

If y'all wanted it to be super lord miracle Christmas Santa December babies - I'd make you a damn badge in Photoshop and then not use it since I don't celebrate Xmas. I won't be offended or hurt.
Calling us the deductions is fun, not taking anything way. We can over analyze it and say it's subtracting or "trivializing" our little miracles but right now my little miracle is stabbing me in the stomach and making me puke... So, upside is I get baby and a tax deduction in the end. Even my hubby laughed at it. It's just funny and clever.

TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38 Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.
Moving on to IVF#1. ER 11/26/13, 16 eggs retreived, 12 mature and all fertilized. 2 blasts transferred on 12/1. All other embies arrested so nothing left to freeze. Beta 12/10 = BFN. IVF #2 March 2014. BFP!!! TEAM BLUE!!!
