Had ultrasound today

I had my dating ultrasound today. I wanted to be sure my due date was correct as I only had one period after I had DD in Jan 2013. My edd based on my LMP was Dec 1st, putting me at 8 weeks today.

We went in and they started the scan, and could see the sac, but nothing in it. The tech said they should do an internal ultrasound to rule out an ectopic pregnancy. Of course when he said that, my heart sank. So he got me to empty my bladder and did the internal ultrasound. He turned the screen away from me and asked questions about if they had done any blood tests. I thought I was done for sure. Then he said he saw baby and I am measuring at 6 weeks exactly. We even got to see the heartbeat. He said everything looked great.

I figured my due date would change, but never imagined it would move by 2 weeks. That also means I got my BFP when I wa 3w 5d. They wouldn't give me my new due date (said my dr would call me) but based on him saying I am 6 weeks, it makes my due date Dec 15th.
