Baby carrier recomendation for large breasted women?

Looking online at all the options (Bjorn... ergo... wraps etc) and am wondering how they work with large breasted women? I am a DD-DDD cup now and can't imagine where I will be when my milk comes in. I would like to register for a carrier but don't want to smother the baby in my cleavage! Any suggestions?

  • I liked the moby, but after baby is 10-12 pounds is get uncomfortable, and I think the same goes for the bjorn. I know the ergo is very adjustable and fits a wide range of sizes. You could also look at the beco gemini which fits newborns very well.

  • I am busty too. Size H and have never had any trouble with any of the carries I own. I have a soft structured carrier similar to the ergo, 3 woven wraps, a ring sling and a ktan.

  • I was a 36H when I was nursing and wore the Ergo comfortably. I did not care for my ring sling (Maya wrap) because I always felt like I was smothering him.

  • I was a 42h while
Nursing. I did not have luck with moby. Ergo was great when baby was a little bigger and could hold his head up. I actually bought the Bjorn that was designed for more athletic use and it was awesome. I am also plus sized.

  • Tula or Kinderpack. Spend a little more and it will last longer and have a much better resale value.
