We had a wonderful, albeit it long at times, weekend with all three sides of our family. We went to my IL's on Saturday, church Sunday morning and then lunch at my Dad's, followed by dinner at my Moms (which was waffles, because my Mom always tries to do a non-traditional meal).
The kids got so much candy.
DD threw up twice. The first I thought was just due to a full stomach. The 2nd was on my SIL, who is first tri pregnant. I felt so awful!
So DD wore one of my Mom's dresses that I also have pictures in.
It was the warmest day in MN so far, which was amazing!
I already shared a couple Easter pics in the Weekend Randoms thread, opps. We spent the day at my IL's house with MIL, FIL, BIL, SIL, and DS's cousin Carlos. MIL attempted an Easter egg hunt but DS just wanted to play with rocks. We played in the pool, hung out, and had a wonderful ham dinner.
@trombgirl I can't get over the fact that they were in the pool and it was warm enough! That's awesome!
Yeah, I try not to talk about California weather....especially when some bumpies are still dealing with ice and snow....but it's been 70s and 80s here for a couple weeks now.

Yeah, our last bit of snow melted yesterday after we got 19" last Wednesday. Boooooo.
What a weekend! Saturday was breakfast with the Easter bunny, an attempted Easter egg hunt, Sunday we went on rides at the Wildwood boardwalk, then to my brothers where my mom had a friend come do an exotic animal show (a surprise for the kids and sooo cool), along with an Easter egg hunt and piñata!! Fun filled!!!
Oh gross!! @SmarieMcB84 is that a snake?!?! You are a lot more brave than I am!
Looks like an Albino Burmese Python. Nice snakes, but they get HUGE!!! I prefer snakes that stay 6 ft or smaller... like a Ball Python or Red Tailed Boa. I once had a Brazillian Rainbow Boa, gorgeous snake.
My DH bought me a new car! YAY! I have dubbed it my "Easter car." Then I took my teenage niece out for dinner and a round of mini-golf. It was gorgeous weather!
I don't have any pics of DD off of DH's camera yet, but I was pretty proud of the Easter "basket" (I used a 6-pack beer carrier) I made of DH! He loved it. I put three craft beers, gum, K-cups, beef jerky, red pens (for grading) and a new pair of sissors in there too I wrapped the whole thing in crepe paper and ribbon I had around and BOOM!

-------------------------- Haha yes @trombgirl and @ambershaw512 it was a python and It was very tame and very nice. I grew up around a lot of animals so I am pretty open to them. However, I would not go near the tarantula he brought. It was really cool, very different and interesting.

Looks like everyone had a great Easter! Love the pics! We went camping with friends. There were 3 families total, with 7 kids whose ages ranged from 2 to 12. We did a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt for the first time, and had a picnic by the water. One of my favorite Easters ever
@SmarieMcB84 I've always loved animals and have worked with them my entire adult life. I know that snake was super sweet....they are often used as a show & tell species because of their calm temperment. Burmeses get seriously huge and can be dangerous later on just because of their sheer size...but that one is still a baby.
I am such an animal nut I love 'creepy crawlies' too. An early FFFC.... among my list of pets over the years I've had two tarantuas (a Pink Toe and a Rose Hair), one Emperor Scorpion, and a Giant Black Millipede. And yes, I held them all.
That is awesome @trombgirl. My sister is the same way. Her and My mom both work with animals. My mom is an animal lover and so we always had lots of various pets growing up. Spiders just freak me out! I have a lot of thick hair and I think I have a fear of them getting into my hair!!

It's just the 3 of us here so we had a nice relaxing day and had a feast at Outback! (And of course took obnoxious selfies while waiting for our cheesecake!)
