Short periods

So, I started signs of my period on Wednesday. There was brown when wiping, then later in the day pink. I had a little bit of red at night, but didn't really have a flow.

Thursday, AF was full fledged! I went in for my baseline and it was full flow Friday. By Friday night, it had slowed down and yesterday it was pretty much gone. Last month was fairly similar with my period.

I have never had regular periods, so I am not sure if this is anywhere near normal or if I should call my RE about it. I guess my concern is...could this be some indication of egg quality or am I panicky for no reason?
10/2013 - Initial consult. Started levothyroxine - tsh 2.92
HSG- showed graying in one spot/Saline Sono- showed 5mm polyp
DH SA -  abnormal -  36%motility on both SA's (count and morph ok on SA1, a little off SA2)
1/10/14 - Hysteroscopy to remove 5mm polyp
1/12/14- Medicated Cycle 1: 50mg Clomid + Ovidrel + TI = BFN
2/15/14 - Medicated Cycle 2: 100mg Clomid + Ovidrel + TI = BFN
3/18/14 - IUI Cycle 1: 150mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI = BFN
Upped Levothyroxine to 50mg - tested at 2.62
4/17/14 - IUI Cycle 2: 150mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI = BFN
Break!
6/21/14: IUI Cycle 3: 150mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI

    I also have very short periods. I really only need tampons for the first day. Second day, I barely need a pad. I never brought it up with my doctor, though. I'm interested to see if other people have.

    My period--before I started treatment--was very light and my RE wasn't concerned. I had never used a super tampon until after my first IUI!

    On the 1st day and even the 1st 1/2 of the 2nd day, I definitely have full flow and it's fairly heavy.

    I have very heavy periods that only last 24 hours. It's very painful I'm wearing tampons and pads then it almost stops the next day. It may start back up again a little bit but never heavy just spotting with an occasional clot or two. I've had this for years, like 15 years. I've brought it up to my Dr before in the past but he said it was NBD.

    It actually has advantages, I love to swim and I really only have 1 day a month that I can't.

    I also have very short periods. Very heavy flow, painful cramps the first day then light flow to nothing on day two. Possibly a side effect of fertility meds? Not sure but I'm not gonna complain lol!

    Diagnosed as anovulatory 7/2013

    Round #1 Clomid 50 mg 8/2013= BFN

    Round#2 Clomid 50 mg 9/2013=BFN

    First appointment with RE 9/27/2013

    HSG showed left tube completely blocked, diagnosed with hypothyroid and began 50 mcg Synthroid, Vitamin D level low and began 2000 iu Vitamin D, Hubby's SA showed "super sperm" according to RE

    Round#3 Clomid 50 mg + Ovidrel trigger 10/2013= BFN

    Round #4 Clomid 50 mg + Ovidrel trigger 11/2013=BFN

    Round #5 Clomid 50 mg (no trigger, on vacation) 12/2012= BFN

    Round #1 Femara 2.5 mg, no trigger, IUI cancelled due to early ovulation 1/2014= BFN

    1/25/2014= BENCHED for the first time (two leftover follies on the right)

    2/7/14 Diagnosed with MTHFR/Benched

    4/2014 Round #2 Femara 5mg, IUI #1=BFN

    4/28/14 positive opk with no treatment while on break, confirmed with ultrasound= BFN

    5/16/14 5mg Femara + trigger + TI=  BFN

    6/2014 5mg Femara + trigger + TI= BFN

    Awaiting IVF consultation appointment on 7/29/2014

    8/8/14 Began BCP's to prep for IVF

    9/16/14 Began Lupron injections

    9/25/14 Began stimming for IVF #1 with Menopur and Bravelle

    10/8/14 10 eggs retrieved

    10/13/14 2 embryos transferred

    10/21/14 BFP!!!

    11/24/14 confirmed that baby stopped growing at 6 weeks, d&c scheduled

    My periods have never needed more than a regular tampon or thin pad. The last year or so they've been lighter and shorter still. They last 1.5 days and maybe 2 tampons and a pad, and they are never filled. But I also have brown spotting several days before and after. I was always curious if my cervix doesn't open well or something.

    I told the GYN and the RE about it, and they seemed to think it was normal. I am curious, though, to see in my testing next month if the uterine lining is thick enough. I also wondered (and have heard) if it was low iron, that the body reabsorbs more of the uterine lining.

    I also have shorter periods.  Usually about 2 days max...and they're fairly light.  I've never mentioned anything to my doctor about it though..

    DH: 34  
    Aug 2013 - SA: Counts & Motility = great, Morph = 1%; RE didn't seem too concerned

    Me: 26
    Jan. 2014 - Blood work ordered by obgyn:  Prolactin = high & AMH = low (0.73)
    Feb. 6, 2014 - Repeat blood work ordered by obgyn:  Prolactin = normal & AMH = low (0.9)
    Feb.  20, 2014 - First appointment with RE
    Feb. 24, 2014 - HSG scheduled;  DX:  one tube definitely open & one tube could be blocked
    Mar. 7, 2014 - CD 21 Blood work for Progesterone; DX:  Progesterone level at 5.2; shows I ovulated but was low
    Mar. 28, 2014 - Laparoscopy; DX:  Tubes open.  Found some endometriosis and had that removed.
     
    History:
    Started TTC:  June 2012
    June 2012 - March 2013:  When it Happens/it happens method = BFN
    March 2013:  Started using Fertility Friend
    Cycles 1 - 15 with Fertility Friend = BFN
    Cycle 16 - Benched due to Laparoscopy
    Cycle 17 - Natural Cycle = BFN
    Cycle 18 - Natural Cycle = BFN
    Cycle 19 - Natural Cycle = BFN
     

    Current Cycle:
    Cycle 20 = Natural Cycle

    3 days tops and only need regular tampon day one and panty liners or super thin pads after that.  My RE is aware and said it's not a big deal, just how my system works.

     Hashimoto's with irregular cycles  DH- 37 Severe oligoasthenoteratozoospermia

    TTC since May 2012

    HSG- all clear

    March 2014 - RE appt. 
    April 2014- Saline sono all's good, terrible SA results - 8 sperm found all abnormal
    May 2014- Fert Urology- Bilateral varicoceles, recommend Donor Sperm
    12/2014-  Surprise natural BFP  EDD 7/31/15 Plan:  Starting foster to adoption, natural cycles
