We had a few gems from spending the weekend with my inlaws but this one stood out.

(We were in Target and I picked up some Plum Organics pouches.)

MIL: Are you sure you want this one?
Me: Yes. DS likes this one.
MIL: Really? Do you think it's safe? It says It is made in Thailand. Is that ok?
Me: Ummm... It is inspired by Thai cuisine but produced here.

She is so closed minded!

    My MIL decided to tell everyone about her brother's bleeding hemorrhoids during Easter dinner.  DH flipped out on her and she announced that since we were all together it would be easier to let everyone know.

    Then she followed that up by tell me my cheesy au gratin potatoes were 'lazy woman's potatoes', because I left the skin on the potatoes.  WTF?  I never take the skin off of red skinned potatoes.... I even layered the sliced potatoes in a corning ware dish so they looked pretty. 

    I just shake my head at her because you cant fix crazy.
