I feel so humbled (loss mentioned)

So last week I found out I have placenta previa and like a toddler I was throwing a tantrum that I wouldn't get the natural delivery that I wanted. I also was dreading the almost inevitable bedrest. Well yesterday a girl on my bmb lost her little girl due to placenta previa and a coworker posted pictures of her now 3 year old who was born at 34 weeks b/c of placenta previa. I feel so humbled now that I was worried about the loss of the type of birth that I wanted. Right now my baby is happy and healthy and I feel so grateful. Sorry for the rant ladies but if anyone would understand I figured it was you.

Sometimes we just need a bit to get some perspective. For a second when I found out my due date, I thought - uh oh, that's going to be a bit tricky for work. And then I realized what the heck am I thinking?! If I get to take this baby home, any due day is the best due day.

With my first son I was worried about a lot of little unimportant things. After 2 losses...this pregnancy has been totally different and I am glad for every day I wake up, still pregnant and feeling some movement. The situations and the experiences make you see things from a different perspective. It is hard, and I wish I were blissfully ignorant, but we just have to accept and learn.

I am sorry you are in the same boat, not the best one to be. At least, we give the right importance to the right things. Hugs.
