Bleeding post d&c

How much did you bleed post d&c? I'm bleeding quite heavily still, 10 days post. I know some bleeding is normal, but not sure when or if to call my OB.

I bled for two weeks, but I don't think the second was as heavy. If you're bleeding enough to fill a pad an hour, definitely call your doctor. Even if you aren't but are still concerned, sometime a phone call does a lot for piece of mind. I hope it tapers off soon!

It's not enough to fill a pad (I'd say medium flow?).

Sounds pretty much like what I had with my D&C in November. I bled for a couple weeks after with some light cramping. That being said, if you're ever worried call your doctor. They're there to answer questions for you.

I think it must be different for every woman, I only bled the first day after and have had light spotting randomly about every three days since then, two and a half weeks ago. It never hurts to call the doctor just to ease your worries!

How many weeks did it talk for you to get your period after a D&C?

I had my D&C 2 weeks and 1 day ago and I'm still bleeding. Some days there's barely anything and on others it's like a moderate period flow. It's definitely beginning to annoy me but unfortunately it seems it's normal, as is the bleeding you're experiencing.

Thanks ladies, still bleeding lightly here, but glad to know it seems normal. Impatient for my body to get building a nice healthy lining and back into a regular cycle!
