TTC after 35

hello! nearly 40

Hello!  I joined only a few days ago, and am glad to start posting.  Already, reading through everyone's posts and replies has been really helpful.

I'll turn 40 at the end of the year.  DH is the same age.  The way life works out, we now are talking about starting a family.  So for 3 months we've been TTC.  I'm feeling foolish because I only started charting -- my morning temp, etc. -- about a week ago.  But there's no point worrying about it.  So I'm glad I can come here, read people's messages, and benefit from what you guys share.  Thanks in advance, everybody!

Looking forward to being here,
tzz50

Re: hello! nearly 40

  • Hi tzz50! Welcome.

If you kept track of your cycle for the past months and have not done so already, I would recommend inputting that information in Fertility Friend or whichever charting app you are using. When I started charting, it made me feel proactive.

Have a good weekend and see you around!

Thanks for the suggestion, URMySunshine77.  You're right about feeling proactive, and recording cycle dates in an app is one thing I've done.  Now as I wonder what on earth my waking temperature pattern will be, those cycle dates feel like solid pieces of info I have for now!!  Happy weekend!
