Polyps and Fibroid (or other tumor) Pain?

Caved and went to the dr after 3 days of pain. They found "something" under my cervix that is probably a polyp/fibroid/other tumor. Anyone else have something like this? Is this pain going away or am I stuck with it??

I have a follow up appt with perinatologist on Tues.

I have no experience, but I do know that we have a lot of ladies here who have or have had fibroids. I hope the follow up goes well for you, and keep us updated!

I have ginormous fibroids, so I don't know how much help I'll be, but mine cause me pain all the time. It's been years, so I'm used to it. my first pregnancy I just dealt with it, but last time I caved at the end and took the pain meds my ob prescribed after landing in the ER a couple of times. I'm on the crappy end of the fibroid spectrum. I have friends with fibroids and cysts who have had totally uneventful, pain free pregnancies. That is the more common scenario. They also tend to shrink postpartum. Good luck!!

Thanks ladies! I've been in bed most if the day. I hate being away from my classroom but I don't know how I'm going to do this for the next 5 months either. I'll definitely keep you updated next week!

I have an external uterine fibroid that they're keeping an eye on. I haven't had any pain from it...they just want to make sure it doesn't start to grow

The pain got progressively worse today. My doctor is moving my appointment with the specialist to tomorrow. She also called in some Vicodin but it's only dulling the pain a bit.

Saw the specialist yesterday and he gave me indocin to combat the fibroid pain. Everything was great until this morning. Started feeling really weak, dizzy, and nauseous. Called my OB and the on call doc had me go to the hospital. Had a reaction to the indocin. Was out in a couple of hours with a new Rx but this has not been my favorite weekend. Ugh. Home and resting. Hoping the new meds are a little nicer to me. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers!!
