Amenda vs medela

I have been using the ameda pump for almost 8 months and it's never been all that efficient, I pump 30 minutes 4 times a day to get 14 ounces for daycare. Lately it keeps breaking and ameda sends me new parts, which is really nice of them but makes this SO stressful for me. I am thinking about buying the medela for the next 4 months of pumping so work. Have any of you done this and noticed that you pumped less amount of time and got the same or more with the ameda?

I've only used a Medela but I pump 2x a day for about 10, maybe 15 minutes and get about 6-10 ounces each session (average of 15 ounces a day). I have no complaints.

I guess it is settled because the ameda totally died this morning on me.
