I think it's time. Lurker Intro.

Hellooooo Parenting!

I'm a creepy lurker from Feb14 and have decided I want to come play with you fine people. BUT...I have a few confessions to make, confessions which might make you say "please return to F14 and stay there." So here we go:

1. I had no idea who Benedict Cumberbatch was until I googled. And even now, I call him "Benedict Cumberbund" in my head.
2. Up until I started lurking, I was an asshole who only sometimes returned grocery carts. I'm reformed, if that matters, but I was definitely a grocery cart asshat.
3. I don't drink (anymore). 
4. I don't know jack shit about parenting. FTM to an almost 3 month old girl, and I'm completely making this parenting thing up as I go.


Despite those confessions, I'm pretty cool. I like cilantro and soft pants, I hate beets because they taste like dirt. I'm back at work after my maternity leave and it's bittersweet -- I don't think I'd enjoy staying at home full time, but I miss my kid like crazy. I work in the Frozen Yogurt Industry but kind of dislike frozen yogurt. I live in the south, but am originally from DC. My hobbies include bumping, drinking coffee, doing crossword puzzles, and....I think I need more hobbies.


So that's it. Whaddaya say, Parenting?

    @lexilupin - mostly, I feel annoyed/amused that Parenting is in my brain forever. The cart stall will be SO FAR away and I'll want to abandon my cart...but I just can't do it. You guys have permanently altered my sense of cart entitlement.

    @bunkinmama - I'm a huge wimp about scary movies, and hate them all as a general rule. The scariest I've ever seen was probably Hostel, because it was so gory and kinda-sorta based on reality. Like, that shit could actually happen! The Ring was pretty effed up, too.

    Froyo is wonderful, but I think I've just froyo-ed myself out at this point. Don't tell my employees. Or my customers. 

    I think I chose a bad day to do an intro, with it being Easter and whatnot. I fully expected more flames for my grocery cart shananigans.
