I apologize for the lateness of this check-in! Holiday weekends are crazy!

Welcome to the Bible Study Check-In!

Mondays we check-in with a Bible chapter to read and a verse of the week. Thursdays, we highlight the verse of the week and have the accountability/check-in section. This check-in is open to PgAL & PAL Ladies. Chat with the TTCAL ladies is on Sunday nights at 9 PM EST.

    Please excuse my newbie-ness, but I'd love to get in on the study!  I had a loss last September and currently have an EDD of 12/20, and I'm really struggling with trusting that God's got this one under control - I would love some bumpie sisters in Christ for support, especially ones who know what I've gone/am currently going through.

    So how does this work?  Will I study Proverbs 2 for this coming Monday, or was this the chapter that was given out this past Monday and discussed on Thursday (meaning there will be a new chapter posted this coming Monday for Thursday's check-in)?  Or am I totally just making this more complicated?! Lol!! :)

    1. Prayer Concerns: A family member who is struggling with infertility had a setback this week, so prayers for future success are much appreciated. I also think I may be getter a bladder infection, so healing prayers are also appreciated!

    2. Praises: My H has been incredible - he's working day and night on home improvements.

    I still feel like I need to be more accountable with regular prayer and study.

    I was planning on doing outdoor stations of the cross tonight, but I'm not feeling well. Hopefully this passes! H and I will be going to mass very early on Sunday then spending time with family. I'm hoping to maybe say the rosary tomorrow since my plans for today didn't pan out.

    @nyg2042 Thank you!

    1. Prayer Concerns:  My grandfather (86 years old) had a fall last year, hitting his head, and is still dealing with some of the neuropathy issues that come with it.  He's been having some anger issues and confusion tied to it, and I'm just asking for prayer that his mind clears up and that God takes him home before he has to be put into an assisted living home - he wouldn't do well there at all.

    2. Praises: God's constant provisions, even when I doubt how we'll get through something!

    3. Read, Study, & Comment on: Proverbs 2 (ESV)

    Verse of the Week: Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;

    4. Question of the Day: Thursday Check-in: I need to prioritize my time with God and not have it only when I can "fit it in," but instead make the rest of my day fit in around my time with God.

    5. Bonus Question: Are you doing anything over the next couple of days to prepare for Easter?
    DH and I are coloring Easter eggs (yes, we're both pushing 30...but we're kids a heart!) and will be spending the afternoon having dinner with our closest friends up here since our families are so far away.  We're also going to the early chapel service tomorrow morning.

    I just intro'd on the board and I'd love to join you :) like @littleissa86‌, I had a loss last year in Aug and I'm struggling in trusting God through this new pregnancy. I worry about every twinge in my stomach area. I really want to just trust Him and pray, which is all I can do. It's hard when things are out of my control, but this whole process of TTC and being pregnant is not something I can control!

    @nyg2042‌ I'll be praying for your friend's infertility setback and for healing for you!

    @littleissa86‌ so sorry about your grandfather, I totally understand your prayers.

    1. Prayer Concerns: I had some light cramping right after I found out I am pregnant. I don't want to spend the next 9 months a nervous wreck. Please pray for peace.

    2. Praises: I'm pregnant! That is definitely an answered prayer :)

    I really need encouragement in fully trusting God and not trying to take control of every little thing (sense a theme?) I also would like to spend more time in prayer and reading the Bible.

    We are coming today for tomorrow's dinner with family. We're making dessert and some sides!

    @TravelingCouple‌ - the beginning is very nerve-wrecking. I'll be praying for peace of mind and a healthy, uneventful 9 or so months!
