do you lock your stroller?

At the zoo, you have to leave your stroller outside a lot of the buildings.  At the library, we leave our stroller in the doorway.  Now that we have a giant expensive stroller, I feel like I should lock it up.  Suggestions?

Re: do you lock your stroller?

  • Thought about that the last time I was at an amusment park, but everyone else had strollers as well. I figured if parked next to the $$$$ stroller that isn't locked, mine would be less likely to get messed with...

  • This reminds me... SIL had her cheap Minnie Mouse umbrella stroller switched out at Disney for one with a broken wheel and torn canopy. Someone actually untied the balloon and colored ribbon on the handle and moved it!

  • No. At the zoo, there is a sea of unlocked bobs, uppababy vistas and city minis. I don't think people steal them there. I have heard of strollers stroke off the front porch though.

  • Yes. We have a City Select and even though it isn't $1K, I don't want to have to buy another. Bike lock.

  • Huh I never thought about that. One more thing for me to be paranoid about!

  • I know someone who just take a wheel off their stroller and sticks it in their purse.  Who would steal a 3 wheel stroller?  This seems a lot faster than locking and unlocking all the time.
