6 month pictures

As we all have or will be approaching the 6 month mark, are/did you get 6 month pictures of LO done professionally? Or take them yourself?

We only had newborn photos done at the hospital (they came out surprisingly really nice) and I am planning on getting 1 year pictures done but I'm not sure about 6 month pictures. I need to decide soon since LO is 6.5 months...

At 6 months she wasn't sitting up strong enough but now at 7 months she does and I plan on getting them soon

I wasn't planning on doing professional shots but I have taken some cute ones myself. We did professional ones when she was a newborn that I loved. With her older brother we did professional shots at newborn, 7 months I think, and then 1 yr, 2 yr, 3 yr and he did 4 yr at the same time we did her newborn shots.

We got professional 6 months/Easter ones done. Still waiting for the photos but really happy we did

We had professional ones done at the hospital a couple of days after he was born. LO goes to a daycare center and they did school pictures there when he was about 5 months. His turned out really cute. I also do my own monthly pictures.

We had newborn photos done in the hospital, but the photographer wasn't very good and the baby was screaming. I'm not happy with the results. We also got professional three-month and six-month photos. Luckily those came out better.

In all cases, I know I could have done my own, but it was so much faster to just pay someone else to do it. I have a nice camera, but I do not have a studio setup or Photoshop skills. In an effort to spend less, I am going to suck it up and take her nine-month and twelve-month photos myself. After that we'll only do portraits once a year.

We did newborn, 3 month and 6 month pictures with a professional photographer. The 6 month pictures are so adorable. We couldn't decide and bought all of them.

We did newborn, Christmas and 6 month photos, we'll also do 1 year photos. I bought this frame where I can put 3 photos in it, so am planning on putting his newborn, 6 month and 1 year photo in there.

We have a mini studio set up at home so I took my own. We do photoshoots quite often just for fun.

I wasn't planning on getting professional ones, but my sister was visiting when LO was 6m and her LO 11m. We took group and individual shots for the grandparents.
