AW: Can you believe they have the same parents?

I am kind of shocked how different DS1 and DS2 look! For reference, DH is half Chinese, half white, and I am white. Neither of us have light hair or eyes, but each of us has a parent with green/blue eyes. I'm wondering how Isaiah's coloring is going to turn out as he gets older.

    Wow, your boys do look very different. Same chin though!

    My kids on the other hand, look very much alike I think. When I look at DD, I feel like I'm looking at DS when he was a baby!

    Wow they do look much different! But equally cute!! ( :
    My oldest looks exactly like the new babe, but my middle child looks like he came from the wrong brother! Lol!
    Here's a pic I took of first baths, my oldest on top Amelia on bottom, to me the only difference I see is that ones a boy and ones a girl...
    So weird how the genetics work each time!!

    Wow! Look at that - very different. I feel the same way, but not that extreme. Cuties though!!

    A girlfriend is Laotian and her DH is white. They have twin boys (10 months). One is Laotian, the other is white... too funny!

    FI is Haitian, Irish, and Sri Lankan. His mother and two half siblings are just Haitian and Irish and are all very light skinned whereas he is very dark. I am a mixture of basically every super light skinned Eastern European.

    Both of our boys are very light skinned (DS1 is a wee bit darker) with dark hair. DS1has eyes so dark brown they look black and DS2 has dark blue-grey eyes. Their hair is really straight, though DS1 gets curly and messy at a certain length. First picture is DS1 at four months. Second is DS2 at 12 weeks. DS2 is also a lot bigger (and chunkier) now than DS1 was.

    February 19, 2010- BFP! March 14, 2010- M/C January 17, 2011- BFP! April 26th, 2011- It's a boy! Due September 20, 2011 May 2, 2011- Confirmed Gastroschisis August 7, 2011- Labor begins August 12, 2011- Max is born October 4, 2011- Max comes home!

    Both DSs look exactly alike. My uncle got DS2 birth announcement and asked if I used DS1's photos. When I look at DS2 I think sometimes I am holding DS1 as a baby.

    Yep! It must have been the baby toy of the year, haha.

    It's so funny how genetics work! Our lo is darker completed than both dh and I were. I'm anxious to see how her coloring changes.

    I have a cousin who is half black, half white and his wife is half Asian half white, they had twins who look completely different and another dd who looks completely different from both twins! It's funny how some peoples kids look identical and others completely different
