I wasn't into this when I first saw these during my pregnancy with Ds. But remember thinking it would have been nice to have them when we were immediately flocked with family at the hospital. Kinda thinking of buying one from etsy. Dh rolled his eyes at me. So now I kinda want one, but ....just torn.
Re: Anyone thinking about taking your own hospital gown?
I wore a hospital gown the entire time with DD. During labor I needed continuous monitoring due to my induction and then ended up getting so hot and peeled even the hospital gown off for the last few hours. I did hate the heaviness of the hospital gowns after she was born, so I bought some cheap black nightgowns to wear after this LO's birth.

Pretty much anything that can come out of your body will likely end up on the gown worn during birth. The first 24 hours pp are often pretty bloody as well. I would just assume ruin something that I am not paying OOP for, TYVM.
Once the worst of the bleeding has let up I have some yoga pants and nursing tops to wear.
