Very important question (alcohol related)

I had a terrible headache all afternoon into the evening. I took excedrin and then later ibuprofen and I finally feel better.

Am I safe to drink wine? Or will it make my headache come back?

There’s a lightning in your eyes I can't deny
Then there’s me inside a sinking boat running out of time
Without you I'll never make it out alive
But I know, yes, I know we’ll be alright

I would drink a large glass of water first and then the wine :)

I've drank a couple trying to get the excedrin to work. I really want the wine because LO would not stop screaming today but I do not want the worst headache I've ever had to come back.

I'd say water, maybe something to eat, then wine.

Do you get wine headaches often? I think tannins and sulfites are common culprits for triggering wine headaches. Depending on which you are sensitive to, there are different wines to drink. I can't remember the whole explanation. I know taking a claritin an hour before drinking can reduce your headache chances. Here's an article if you are curious about which wines are best.

I don't think the headache is from wine. It's from being out all day with a screaming toddler. That is really interesting though!

I thought you had a headache from wine earlier and now wanted more. Reading fail. Sorry you had a rough day. Drink up!
