OK, so two short rants. Just venting...
1. One of the custodians I run into a lot at work (my office used to be on his floor for 5 years), ALWAYS asks me if I'm eating. Eating. "Have you eaten?" "Are you eating?" "Did you eat?" WTF. It hasn't bothered me until yesterday when he asked both times I saw him. I don't understand his obsession with my eating habits while I'm pregnant. Maybe someone in his life stopped eating while pregnant? He was also the one who, when I told him I was pregnant back in the fall, said, "Oh yeah, I figured you were since you have been gaining weight." Sigh....
2. Yesterday I hit 36 weeks and I'm due May 15th. At my OB appt last week the doctor thought I was 34 weeks and I had to correct her. Yesterday, while I was getting BP checked and weighed in my nurse also said at
first that I would NOT do the swab yesterday since I wasn't 36
weeks yet but I had to correct HER too. Then, I unfortunately had to meet with a new doctor for my Group B swab and cervical check (which was worse than I thought it would be) and HE said I was 35 weeks. UGH! What is wrong with my doctor's office??
And I'm aware that I have no siggy. I've been lazy.
Isabella & Julian & and now #3!
Re: "Are you eating?"
Your Dr. Office sounds like they need to keep better records! That's crazy that they don't know how far along you are. You should deffinitly mention it to the Dr. and staff Next time you are in the office. It is deffinitly productive feed back they need to know about.
