Hi ladies, I've been lurking for a few weeks now (and may have even responded to a few posts) so figured it was time to introduce myself.  This is my 3rd pregnancy, hopefully 2nd take home baby.  I was doing pretty well emotionally the first few weeks of this pregnancy, but as I approach the 6 week, 6 day mark when I had my miscarriage I'm becoming a bit of a mess.  It's like I'm just waiting for this to end badly even though I have no reason to think so.  My mind tells me these are two completely separate pregnancies, but my emotions seem to be clouding my judgement.  It doesn't help that I had a dream the other night that I started bleeding again.  It's almost like this pregnancy isn't real yet, despite the multiple positive HPT's I've had.  I don't have many friends IRL who have experienced a loss, so I'm hoping to find some support here when my mind decides to take a ride on the crazy train.

    Congratulations and welcome. We've all felt this way at one time or another. Passing my loss milestones helped me feel a little better, and I hope it will help you, too. ((Hugs))

    BFP #1 October 2008 | m/c Thanksgiving weekend | November 2008 | 7 weeks 2 days
    BFP #2 February 2009 | m/c March 2009 | 4 weeks 3 days
    Testing on mom and dad for possible reasons all came back normal.
    BFP #3 8/4/2009 | DD born 3/28/10 @ 38 weeks
    BFP #4 5/13/11 | m/c 6/15/11 | 8 weeks 6 days
    BFP #5 2/13/13 | CP 2/19/13 | 4 weeks 
    BFP #6 3/21/14 | Heard the HB on 4/16 | m/c 4/21/14 | 9 weeks
    Testing results all returned normal and baby was a GIRL.
    More testing on mom and dad for other issues all returned normal results.
    BFP #7 10/15 | DS born 6/4/16 @ 36 weeks

    Congrats and welcome!  I'm 11+ weeks and am still having dreams about bleeding/miscarriage, I don't know that it will get much better until later in the pregnancy.  I hope it does though, and I hope that you can relax a little once you pass your milestone!

    Congrats and Welcome!  Reminding myself that this was a brand new pregnancy and there was no reason to believe that it was going to end in a poor outcome has helped me.  Frankly there are days still when PGAL brain still knocks me down, even past my loss milestone, but those times are getting further in between. Is your doctor willing to schedule an early ultrasound due to your loss history?  Seeing that heartbeat past my loss milestone probably calmed me down the most.

    @it6720 I have my first US in may around 9 weeks. My OB said I could have one earlier if it would ease my mind but we saw a heartbeat twice before my miscarriage so I don't think I'd find it comforting. I feel like this whole experience is so jaded. I'm hoping once I'm past my loss milestone and have a good US at 9 weeks I'll have a little peace of mind.

    Congratulations and welcome!! I also had some sort of bad dream last night. I know it was baby related but I can't quite remember it and am not interested in doing so anyway! Here's hoping for sweet dreams and a H&H 9 months!
    Married my best friend 7/2/11 - Furbaby born 7/9/11 and brought into our home 9/1/11

    BFP#1:   2/2/13 ~ exact m/c date unknown but around 3/20 at 10 weeks ~ diagnosed with PMP ~ D&C on 4/5 ~ TTA for at least 1 year due to PMP ~ cleared to TTC 1/14

    BFP#2:   2/7/14 ~ m/c 2/20/14 ~ possibly due to chemical pregnancy ~ TG no D&C is needed 

    Surprise BFP#3:  4/4/14 ~ super duper extra happy (and nervous) about this one - EDD 12/9/14!!!

    John Joseph was born on 12/12/14 at 7 lbs. 11 oz.  He is the most beautiful rainbow baby we could have wished for!

    Hi fellow december momma!  I have also been having dreams every couple days about having a negative pregnancy test or waking up in a pool of blood.  Sure makes for a restless night!  I hope as you pass your loss milestone, you will feel a little more relief.  Here's to sweet dreams and a boring/uneventful 34 more weeks!

    I remember having those dreams too. Nothing is easy about those first weeks! I'm glad you have found yourself here and hope you get some great support. I don't know many people IRL with trouble TTC or loss either, so it's a great place where everyone understands what you are going through! Good luck!
