LO Always Sweating in Car Seat?

Hi everyone,

My DS is 10 weeks old today. We have a Graco Click Connect car seat, and during the winter months he had a JJ Cole insert to keep him warm. Whenever I would pull him out of the car seat, he would be so warm, sweating at times. We've since removed the insert as temperatures have started to warm, and I notice that when I pull him out even now, he's still really warm and sweaty. I'm not dressing him in anything that would be considered too warm - usually a onesy and pants, maybe a little hoodie if it's cool out. Anyone else have this happen to their LO? Any suggestions for keeping them cool? I worry as the summer gets closer that he'll be so uncomfortable...

I live in Florida, and I have the same problem with my LO. Since the temps here are hot and hotter, I try to dress him in just a onsie and throw a light blanket on him as needed. To be honest with you I think it is the design of the carseat. I have 2 carseat and stroller systems I use and my Evenflo carseat and stroller design isn't as deep as the Graco, and I've noticed when he's in that one, he doesn't sweat half as much.

Both DS1 & 2 always gets/got sweaty in his Chicco Keyfit. We live in a colder climate. The car seat material just isn't breathable.

We use a Chicco KeyFit 30 seat and our son sweated even in the winter. Someone just gave us a liner made by Meeno that fits inside the seat. He has completely stopped sweating in his car seat since we installed it.

I also have the same problem. I live in NC and the weather here is up and down. I try to dress my baby according to the temp for the day. I figure she is just hot nature because she even sweats at night time.
