Monday, April 14th, Liam Alexander entered the world at 1:52pm weighing 8lbs 10oz, 20.75inches long!!
We checked into the hospital early Monday morning (around 3). We had prepared for a natural, gentle childbirth with HypnoBirthing and was very successful while working through dilation. At noon I was completely dilated and told to so whatever my body directed (in HypnoBirthing they use the phrase "breathe the baby down" instead of "pushing"). I "breathed the baby down" and pushed for two hours before our Liam made his appearance. Those two hours were so difficult, but the moment he was out and we saw that it was a BOY are moments I will never forget!
We are home now, and doing well adjusting to each other.
Enough already - here's our precious boy!
