Baby Announcements (Yes, already)

I picked out the baby announcement designs I want (one for a boy, one for a girl since we don't know the sex). I have them saved in my Shutterfly account. I put fake info on them, obviously.

I did this with my other kids too. I'm crazy. Please tell me someone else has done something similar?

I have not, but just yesterday I called about booking a session with the same photographer we used for C. That is how I did the birth announcements.

I'll hop on the crazy train with you! I haven't picked out announcements, but I did browse them the other day and I got something in the mail from Mint or Tiny Prints about announcements, too!

Actually, one of the baby prep articles I read suggested picking out announcements before baby arrives since you'll likely be busy afterwards!

I've been looking at designs. I usually use shutterfly since we get coupons through the hospital. I beilive we did dd's around 1 month and ds around 2 weeks.

I haven't thought about announcements yet but I think I might be as crazy as you because I did start two Shutterfly baby books for the girls. I figure since I have a lot more time now than I will when they get here, it wouldn't hurt to get a head start. I mostly just picked out some designs and did a little formatting but that way I'll be able to just insert some pictures and fill in the birth details and cute stories from their first year as I go.

I don't really plan on doing announcements, Facebook is fine for my friends and my mom is sure to be calling and texting pictures to all family members

I just waited until I got the newborn pictures back and used a template from Walgreen's. It was three pics and her stats. Simple and straight to the point.

With this LO we will be doing the newborn pics a lot early than we did with DD. DD was 5w6d before we did hers.
