Abdominal pain. Ugh.

4.17.14 ETA ETA: my RE called this morning, I have an US for tomorrow morning at 8:30am. My pain is better this morning but still there. I'm feeling hungry & nauseated = a bit of mental relief

4.16.14 ETA: my office didn't call me. I'm hoping they call first thing in the am now.

Starting sat morning I've been having some intense abdominal pain. It's left sided and right at my iliac crest (top of pelvis bone). I don't think it's uterine related.

Sun it wasn't too bad & Monday I barely noticed it. Yesterday was excruciating. Still painful today, so I had one of my docs check me out.

My work doc thinks it sounds like RLP or pelvic girdle pain but agrees it's early for me to have these. She called my RE, his nurse is supposed to be calling me to get an US scheduled ASAP.

So I'm at work waiting on a phone call. Yay! I'm at our small clinic today, so I only had to out myself to the 1 dr that's here *whew*

I hate pgal brain & anxiety.

    Ooohh I'm sorry you're dealing with this @KMW08.  FX you're able to get in for an US asap and get this figured out!!

    I don't know how far behind me you are bc I am mobile. But I had something similar at 7/8weeks and it turned out to be stretching pains bc I saw my doctor a couple days later. I hope that is all it is! Huge hugs! Keep us updated!

    I'm sorry you are in so much pain.... This entire pregnancy has been one pain after another (literally) but it's always been "normal". I hope the same is for you!! Keep us posted!

    I'm 7w4d today. Still waiting on the phone call--I expect they'll call around 5p and I'll get in tomorrow or Friday.

    I'm glad to hear somebody had something similar. FX this is all it is.

    Testing on mom and dad for possible reasons all came back normal.

    Testing results all returned normal and baby was a GIRL.
    More testing on mom and dad for other issues all returned normal results.

    I'm so sorry you're in pain- it's so hard not to worry!  I have heard about "stretching pains"- hoping it's something easily explained and that you get some relief soon!  ((HUGS))

    FX crossed for you that everything is as it should be!  If it helps, I had to see my OB at 7w2d because I was having severe, stabby pain on the right side (woke me in the middle of the night, returned 4 times during the day).  She brought be in for an ultrasound the next day and couldn't see anything on ultrasound that would indicate a source of the pain.  So maybe it was gas, maybe RLP, maybe other random stretching, who knows; at any rate, baby was happy as a clam.  The pain came back a few more times over the next couple of days.

    I also had some intense sharp pains in the area you're describing a few weeks ago (I'm 11 weeks now). Never figured out what it was but I've had a good US since so I assumed it was normal. Hope all is well and you can get a peace of mind US soon!

    It's so-so right now. Off and on, but severity has decreased atm. It's never been strong enough to wake me up, so that's good. It really doesn't feel uterine or ovarian. Lord knows I know those pains all too well!!

    I am so sorry you are in pain.  Keeping everything crossed go get a call back soon and that it is just run of the mill cramping/stretching.  FWIW, I had a lot of sharp pains on the left and right sides of my pelvis around 7-9 weeks.

    Hope you feel better soon and T&P that everything is absolutely perfect with your little one. I had early RLP with my son and I've already been having it with this one; just because it's supposed to be "too early" doesn't mean it's not possible.

    You might grab a UTI test kit, and check for that too.  They're less than $10 and worth the peace of mind!

    We dipped my urine yesterday at work, nothing infectious popped up.

    Married my best friend 7/2/11 - Furbaby born 7/9/11 and brought into our home 9/1/11

    BFP#1:   2/2/13 ~ exact m/c date unknown but around 3/20 at 10 weeks ~ diagnosed with PMP ~ D&C on 4/5 ~ TTA for at least 1 year due to PMP ~ cleared to TTC 1/14

    BFP#2:   2/7/14 ~ m/c 2/20/14 ~ possibly due to chemical pregnancy ~ TG no D&C is needed 

    Surprise BFP#3:  4/4/14 ~ super duper extra happy (and nervous) about this one - EDD 12/9/14!!!

    John Joseph was born on 12/12/14 at 7 lbs. 11 oz.  He is the most beautiful rainbow baby we could have wished for!
