I have a shit ton of anxiety right now!! Running list currently in my head...

How did my BABY turn 2?!! I need to get him birthday decorations, i need to do the easter basket, what if it rains at the park?, what if family ruins this day (they are notorious for this), What if on Sunday his actual birthday no one says anything to him since it's easter, I feel like he wont get enough attention on his actual birthday with other festivities going on, what if we don't have enough cake, will the ice cream melt, what are we going to have for dinner, WOW i really have nothing done for this weekend, i need to wrap gifts, why am i so worked up over this?.... I stress over watching all of DH's nieces and nephews b/c their parents don't.

Also i know no one will love my kid as much as i do (ok and maybe DH) but i just want him to have a special day damnit!! and i am so far behind

Aww! It will be fine...people will remember to tell him happy birthday. DD's 1st birthday was Easter and I thought the same thing she got tons of birthday love and Jack Jack will too.

I will think happy thoughts about the weather and that no troublemaking family members come and potentially ruin the party, that you have a surplus of food and that nothing melts.

Do you have gift bags to put his gifts in? Can anything be put together for when he wakes up?

Not really... I did download his book on the leapfrog tag jr thing today that i got him. I guess tomorrow i will work on the minion eggs after we go shopping for supplies.. I just am so bad at thinking the worst and procrastinating...

Ugh you guys are right. Can you imagine how i would be if his birthday was Christmas?!! lol

I am pretty sure on Josie's second birthday, I ran into her bedroom in the AM and said "Happy Birthday, monkey!" to her, all excited, and she threw a book at me.

Also, I didn't buy her anything. Instead, I re-wrapped some of the Christmas presents I strategically hid from her after the intital opening on Christmas day (her b-day is 1/16.)

Well, we're procrastinators together. I have yet to get anything for DD's real birthday party next Saturday other than a candle and stethoscopes I ordered off etsy. Everything will come together and if not no one will know but you lol.
