6 days overdue and latent labor

Our due date was last sat so 6 days over. Anyone else experiencing "early latent labor"? I have been having labor symptoms for weeks now (everything except water breaking and timeable contractions)- and have been 5cm dilated since Monday and 80% effaced. Baby is low. Contractions have been getting bigger but then bleed into one another or stop altogether, restarting when I move around, but nothing I can time. We're doing this without augmentation so I won't be having anyone break my water. Anyone else in this boat??

Join the club no one wants to be a part of. I call it prodromal labor and it sucks. I've had it off and on since 25 weeks. I think my progesterone kept me pregnant this time, now it's worn off and I'm hoping that all these contractions are starting to actually do something. I've found the following helpful:

I'm having lots of irregular painful contractions for the last few days. I didn't have anything like that the first time and it's such a tease!!
