What song was playing when you walked down the aisle? I went with Canon in D.

What song did you use for your first dance? I Love You Madly by Ella Fitzgerald

What about father-daughter dance? In My Life by the Beatles. I danced with my brother and DH danced with his Mom.

Any other special songs from your wedding? As Time Goes By--we did an anniversary dance instead of throwing the bouquet. The "bride" who had been married the longest got the bouquet.

We entered the reception to Just What I Needed by The Cars.

What song was playing when you walked down the aisle? The music to I Am... I said by Neil Diamond. The words are kind of sad but the music is beautiful.

What song did you use for your first dance? Looking back with you by Craig Morgan.

What about father-daughter dance? My dad died the year before I got married so I had a special dance with his 3 best friends to Oh What A Perfect Day by George Strait. One of the friends wrote the song and my dad was so so proud of him for it.

Any other special songs from your wedding? Not really.

Walked down the aisle to The Secret Life of Daydreams from the Pride and Prejudice soundtrack.

First dance was to Lucky by Jason Mraz.

I danced with my brother and H with his mom. Can't remember what the songs were though!

What song did you use for your first dance? Wonderful Tonight - that was the first song that played on our first date and the song that he "pinned" me to in front of his fraternity.

We had an absolute blast at our wedding! We danced all night and closed out the party!

We didn't have one. It would have been a big blubbery mess by everyone and both of us kinda said no.

My sand ceremony was to "I will" by the Beatles, and we left to "when I'm 64"

The Flamingos-I only have eyes for you

What about father-daughter dance?
I didn't have one. My Dad doesn't like to dance and I didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable. He said a prayer before dinner for us instead.

Any other special songs from your wedding?
We played a lot of 50s/60s music at the beginning of the reception and gradually upated to current music. It was a lot of fun!

Several people ended up in a Carlton-off, with DH narrowly beating out my sister/MOH.

Our last pick was the Abbey Road medley (Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End). We and our friends all got in a big hug circle. I was moving 3000+ miles away in a few weeks, so it was really emotional.

What about father-daughter dance? My family is super religious and against dancing..so we left this part out for my dad.

Any other special songs from your wedding? At the reception my girls walked out to Girls just Wanna have fun and did a little dance. Then the guys walked out and did a dance to gangstas paradise haha. My husband and I left the reception with All You Need is Love by the Beatles.

Mother/son dance- twenty years late ( my husbands family is not a 'touchy feely' family. They never say I love you, or hug although they do love each other. It is just all unsaid. So this song fit them perfectly and his mom cried

What song was playing when you walked down the aisle? Here Comes My Baby by Cat Stevens but the Vitamin String Quartet version. @missletoad I LOVE VSQ! I used them for my whole ceremony.

What song did you use for your first dance? You and Me by Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds

What about father-daughter dance? Blue Eyes by Elton John. Me and my dad are the only ones in my family with blue eyes - he used to sing it to me when I was little.

Any other special songs from your wedding? People sat down to the Vitamin String Quartet version of Sweet Child O Mine by Guns n Roses. It's a really cool, very pretty version of the song.

Any other special songs from your wedding? We had two singers, they did Lucky by Jason Mraz/Colbie Callait, A Litte More of You by Ashley Chambliss and Joshua Radin, I'd rather be with you. They sang in between the various segments. There was another Brian Crain song when we left the church too, can't remember which one, maybe Italian Summer?

That was for my second wedding anyway. My first I can't remember, it was way long ago and it was in Vegas. I'd have to ask my ex but I doubt he remembers either.

We were married by a celebrant and she customized our entire ceremony. I actually just found the 3rd draft of our 11 page ceremony script in my gmail!

Recessional: Vivaldi's Fall (four seasons)
First dance: swing dancing to Sing Sing Sing
Father/daughter and Mother/son: Sweet Child of Mine (guns n roses)

"Our" songs: moon dance (van Morrison), you better you bet (the who), out loud (dispatch)

ETA: we met through marching band. Each performance, our band always performed "in my life" by the Beatles as our last song, so at our wedding, it was our last song of the night.
