As determined by popular vote, we will be reading The Book Thief as our first book!

Our first discussion will start May 20th, which gives you a month to read the book. I'll post a reminder to keep (or start) reading at the beginning of May. About the 15th, I'll put up another reminder, as well as a reminder to watch the movie. 

I will post a few topics for discussion (probably something I find online and steal from another bc), and will include something about book vs movie. I was thinking that if you have any thoughtful questions/topics you want to put up for discussion, maybe it would be best to PM them to me, so we can have one list of discussion topics. After that, it will be a free for all.

As I've never run an online book club before, please feel free to give me suggestions on how to make things run as well as possible.

Please remember this club is fun  <:-P not homework. I hope you enjoy reading the book, and taking time out for yourself. If you don't get a chance to finish it or whatever don't feel bad, you can still come to the party. As I may have mentioned in the past beverages, snacks, and reading in the bath are encouraged! And yes, you can get bonus points for theme snacking/drinking, but you'll have to provide photographic proof!

    Ditto! Just means it will be easier to consume our adult beverages while reading ;)
    I read it two weeks ago! I'm just going to drink wine for a month, read Anne of Green Gables, and then watch the movie right before discussion day :)

    I didn't finish it either, can't remember the last time that happened. But it seems to be so popular. @Bookshelves Want to read Anne with me? You can read it out loud to your LO
