Is this a "spinal headache"?

Noticing that sometimes, whether upright or laying, if my neck gets into a certain position I can feel my heartbeat behind my eyes, down my spine into my tailbone. I did have an epidural during delivery, but not sure if this is from that or if I gave myself whiplash pushing somehow. Also makes me dizzy and a touch nauseous the longer it continues. =/

    Spinal headaches usually get much better if you lay down, so if you're feeling the pain no matter if you're upright or laying down, it's probably something else.

    What she said^^...I had one last pregnancy...everytime I would get up to go to the bathroom I got super dizzy and the headache would hit almost instantly. Hope your feeling better soon.

    I had one and concur with pps - spindl headaches get better when you are horizontal. The first two days after my daughter was born I thought nursing gave me splitting headaches and dizziness. Turns out pretty much the only time I was upright was when I would go down to the NICU to feed her, or sit in the chair in my room to pump.
