Did/does anyone's baby move a lot less towards the end of pregnancy? I'm 38 weeks and I feel like she hasn't been moving as much as she use to... I wanted to ask before I really freak myself out and go to the doc
I'm 38W4D and feel the same way. Dr said it was normal. Baby runs out of room. Told me when I start to worry, lay down with feet up and drink ice cold water. Baby always starts wiggling right away.
My MFMs clarified though, they said they actually don't move less, it's just that the movements are different. If you're worried then talk to your doc about what they want and lay down, focus, and count those kicks! I find that when I do this I'm actually surprised by how much he's moving, it's more subtle shifting and adjusting so they don't draw my attention as easily unless I really pay attention.

FTM here 38+2 and i have noticed the same kind of thing. I have also noticed that if i lay down and put my hands on my belly my hands feel movements that I don't even notice. Its not less movements persay, there is less space so they don't tend to roll and flip and kick, its more shifting and adjusting.
I was thinking the same thing last week - and at my doctor's appt on Monday mentioned it. She had me do a non stress test and just the act of sitting still for 20 minutes resulted him in moving a ton! 20-25 movements in the 25 minute period.
Try not too worry but speak up if you feel concerned at your next appt.
