Sex of FE is known! (not to me)(UPDATE)

Update: For those who like to dissect conversations....

Me:I'm not ready for the sex - I still haven't looked at an ultrasound! If it's a boy it's just going to make me even more paranoid going into my 16 week scan! I'm glad someone knows though!!

Geneticist: ;-)

My geneticist just sent me an e-mail saying MaterniT21 was normal and asking if I want to know the sex.. (and YES, she used the word "sex")

Brain is screaming, "NOT READY! NOT READY! ABORT E-MAIL! ABORT CONVERSATION!"

Things just got much more real!

And, since I haven't even watched an ultrasound yet, the answer was "NO!".

I am having a series of 3 anatomy scans to monitor brain development and watch for early signals of what happened last time. I'm not sure when I'll be comfortable enough to see the baby, but we will learn the sex when I finally see the baby.
