Best place to buy nursing tops?

I'm looking for some tops not too expensive. I'm due in October but live in AZ so I don't really need winter tops. Mainly short sleeved and tanks.

Thanks Ladies!

  • Motherhood maternity is where I ordered most of mine.

  • Get some undercover mama tanks from Amazon, and then wear normal tops.  You will save lots of money in the long run, and they are much more practical!

  • I could use help with this too. I have some Undercover Mama tanks, but I get so hot wearing two layers, and it's not even summer yet.

I'm debating buying/making a cover or getting a few tops for going out. I'm more concerned about bearing my belly when lifting my shirt than a bit of exposed boob.

  • I bought some used ones on eBay. Figure 8 has really cute stuff but its pricey. The Gap and Old Navy have cute tips as well. Motherhood Maternity has sales many times like buy 2 nursing items get one free.

  • I love my H&M nursing tanks.  You get two for around $20 and they are super cute.

  • Target has bravado nursing tanks, very comfortable! Zulily has some inexpensive nursing stuff too.
  • Motherwear.com has a good variety for reasonable prices.

  • I've had good luck nursing in button down shirts.  I'm about to order some sleeveless button downs from Old Navy.

  • I never wore nursing tops with #1. Just buy loose tops (scoop neck, vneck work well) and pull them down. Far easier.
Genius - so obvious and yet I never would have thought of it. I've been doing this all weekend! Thanks!

Same here. Other than the Target nursing tanks that I wear around the house, I don't own any nursing apparel. I like loose and v-neck tops, and also the cross-front ones, you can easily nurse in those. Old navy and target both have great dresses and tops like that. (Like this -

  • If double layers are too hot, you don't want to spend a lot on nursing-specific clothing, and you don't want to have a typical nursing cover, buy shirts that are easy to pull down. Cover the exposed part of your breast with something light, such as a muslin blanket, Gerber prefold cloth diaper, or a flour sack towel.
