TSA rule for BM?

I have some questions regarding traveling and BF.
We are planning a vacation when LO turns 10 mo. I will be bringing both PISA and manual (harmony) pump. But I am wondering if they are still limiting the amount of liquid you can bring to 4 oz?

second question: It is a 5 hour flight and I will have to pump once during the flight. I've never NIP and I will have to pump in public for the first time. So I'm thinking of using manual pump and just pumping briefly to relief and not to get full oz. it shouldn't affect my supply by just missing one session right?

I am planning to BF until 1 yr and then afterward let her wean naturally. But since we are planning on introducing solids at 6 mo, i am thinking by 10mo she will have less BM intake.  How much BM does your 10mo eat during the day? Should I go head and bring some frozen for the flight in addition to the 4oz?

TIA!

Re: TSA rule for BM?

  • I see. thanks ladies for the info. She will need to feed once during flight but I want to have extra incase she is fussy or having an off day.

She's been on a nursing strike past 2 weeks. She wont nurse even during her dream eat session. So I've been EPing for few weeks. I don't know if she will go back to nursing by then. I hope she will, I miss nursing her.

She is just about at 25oz per day range now so I guess she might stay that way until 10mo. I hope my supply holds up until then :)
