This week I have developed one of my first (and strangest) symptoms. Occasionally (like once a day) while walking short distances, my right leg will suddenly get really weak and a little numb and tingly. Almost like it stops working. I can only liken it to the "noodle legs" feeling you get after a long run, tons of stairs, etc. Except these are always on short walks- like to my car in the parking lot. I walk about 4 miles per day with my dog and have never had it happen during those walks. There isn't any pain exactly, but it is a little uncomfortable. It only lasts about 20 seconds, but I usually need to stop walking, for fear it will give out completely. I saw the NP at my Dr. office yesterday for my monthly visit and brought it up. First she said she didn't know what to make of it, but then kind of changed her story and said it was common and not to worry about it unless it was accompanied by pain or incontinence, in which case I should head straight to the ER. :-/
Anyone else experienced anything remotely similar?? Can't seem to find much about it on google, except possible sciatica.
