2 herniated disc-- anyone been through this?

I saw my doc today for extreme back pain I've been having. She thinks I have herniated 2 discs in my back and is sending me to a specialist tomorrow.

From what I've seen online this bascally means it's going to be a very painful pregnancy and I won't see relief until the babe is out and I can look into real treatments.

Has anyone been through this? Words of hope?

    I have 3 herniated discs. I had a really bad year last year before getting pg, but I my DO is a true osteopath who does manipulation so that helped. And he sent me to a a PT who specializes in back work. Sometimes pregnancy is good since it loosens things up, but sometimes that's not a good thing. Ypu can also get injections after the first trimester for pain if it's that severe. Good luck.
