Ugh. Today is a piece of work.
Background: Monday I had a routine bi-weekly office visit to check my cerclage and baby. My blood pressure was pretty high and my ankles were swollen I guess because he told me to keep an eye out for headaches and/or vision changes. He told me to call if I experience either one.
My urine hasn't had any protein in it which is good, but my sister had HELLP syndrome with her last pregnancy and he wanted to watch me for any more possible symptoms of toxemia.
Fast forward to today: I've had a mild headache all day and so when I went on my lunch break I decided to call my doctor and give him the heads up. I was expecting an "okay, we'll give him the message" but instead I got "how far away are you? Can you come in now?"
*panic*
So I called my husband and told him to meet me at the hospital. And now I'm hooked up to monitors and waiting to see if the Tylenol they gave me will help my headache.
My blood pressure is fine though and when my doctor came in he didn't seem overly concerned. I guess it's a better safe than sorry sort of thing.
I'll probably be out of here soon (if my urine doesn't have any protein in it). But my gosh...this has been one hell of a day already.
*****UPDATE******
So after a lovely 4 hour stay in the OB, I have been cleared to go home!
They kept me around until my headache subsided, but my blood pressure remained perfectly normal and they didn't find any protein in my urine.
So there ya have it. It's hard to tell a difference between plain old pregnancy symptoms and toxemia, I guess.

05/13 Clear HSG-5 mg Femara + Menopur + trigger + IUI #3 + P4 = BFP ectopic (MTX 07/03 & 07/11)
07/23 emergency lap to remove ectopic mass and left tube
