Audrey is napping and I've spent the entire time buying baby boy outfits from one girl on the Gap resale FB page. I bought 10 outfits, all babygap and polo, for $38 shipped, so am pretty pleased.

I'm jealous of all these CL finds. We have nothing in our area for toys and it covers the entire UP! I can get some good stuff in GB but I'm not driving 2 hours for it.

Also, if you're calling me 7 times in the same day, I'm going to automatically think you're obnoxious. I have a newbie I'm working with who isn't even accepted yet. Dean denied some of her transfers. I gave her the list of ones she could take for summer at her current school. She has called me 6 times since 920am when we talked last asking about other courses, even though I've specifically laid out the courses at her school that will transfer here. It's nursing. It's state mandated curriculum. We're never going to take your History of Harry Potter class. I'm sorry. That's definitely NOT an equivilent to English Comp.

I'm an hour from wausau, but that's the closest CL location. It basically covers all of WI that's not Madison/Milwaukee/GB. ha I keep finding a ton of good stuff in GB too!

When you posted about the LT house last week I went on CL to see if we had them for a price comparison. Everything good that came up was GB. We have nothing good. I'm so sad! I've been to Wausau a few times for hockey and I actually really liked it there. Milwaukee is HUGE compared to what I'm used to. Too big for me.

I found out that if you check out a video on zoo atlanta from a library in GA, you get free admissions for a family of 4. I'm so excited- we had planned a zoo trip for next Monday anyway, and even though the kids would have been free anyway, it saves us almost $50.

Though after the advice on twin beds, I may have to add in a trip to Ikea while we're in Atlanta

I'm not...I'm in the UP (Michigan) but I'm literally 1 hour north of the WI line. We go to GB frequently since it's only a 2 hour drive but has way more things to do than we have here.

An update from my post in the random thread the other day...

Woman in my office told a girl that her boss was an asshole, and it must have gotten back to him, because he's basically making our lives hell.

Oh, and he pays the bills.

They've had 15 emails bickering back and forth today to get an invoice paid, with all of us copied.

Sigh.

We found evidence of termites this morning. Terminex is coming in about 30 minutes to give us an estimate. Of course it's in the room that's going to be Camden's nursery.

Even though I know cleanliness has nothing to do with getting termites I still went into deep cleaning mode, so on a positive note my house is now clean!

Fun times.

(. We've known for awhile, but still haven't done anything about it. Call around for estimates. We called two big companies and one local one. The one local one was going to tent AND spray for less than the other companies were going to tent OR spray.

I'm hoping we don't have to do all that much. We'll be calling some other companies tomorrow and see what they want to charge.

Last night, at 11pm, MIL asked me to make a dessert for Easter. She said "an egg or something, whatever." So helpful. I think I'm going to make a lavender lemon pound cake. Not an egg shaped thing, but oh well.

I need to whine for ten seconds, I think it's unfair that my ob does the gd test, the rhogam shot, and the tetnus shot all at the same appointment. I look ridiculous hobbling around and trying not to bend my elbows or lift my arm at all.

I also wish the lady would have listened to me and used the butterfly right away rather than try (and fail) to draw from both arms before listening.

If you have pets, make sure to ask about alternatives. We found termites legit hatching so we caught them really early, and made sure to ask about alternatives. We didn't want to spray because of the dog. They were able to put killer food in the wall where the damage was and they were all dead within days.

I don't remember what we paid initially, but we had them put food traps all around the house and they come inspect quarterly to see if there is new damage.

Blood draws are a non-negotiable for me. I always tell my phlebotomist (close enough) that I am a tough stick, my veins collapse, they get one shot, blah blah. It takes forever to find a vein they are confident in and they get all pissy when I tell them they have one shot until they see my veins. Sorry you had a rough appointment.

The guy said everything he would use is safe around dogs and kids. He said they don't use chemicals, just foam in the walls and bait in the yard. I definitely made sure to ask!
